Abyaneh village is in the center of Iran, Isfahan province, central part of Natanz the county on the foothill of Karkas Mountain, around the desert that coordinates E51, 35.355 & N33, 35.239 and about 2250 meters above the sea level.

To reach the village; after passing 54 Km from Kashan to Natanz, there is a road to the West, after 24 Km and passing through some villages, you will reach Abyaneh. The village is about 2500 years old. It looks like a living museum and the architecture and lifestyle are still maintained from Sasanids to Qajars era. The walls are covered by the copper-like red color soil that makes a beautiful view with the background of the blue sky. The harmonious architecture of the homes, netlike windows, old fashion wooden doors, two platforms beside some doors, two separated door knocks for the men and the women have created special traditional architecture.

Locals, including men, women, old and young wear traditional dress on the streets. The colorful floral scarves, flounced skirt and the men’s loose-fitting black slacks are their typical clothing style. Wedding dresses are inherited from mothers to their daughters.

The village tourist attractions are as follows: Nadershah servant’s house, Nayeb-Hossein-Kashi’s house, Imam-Zadeh Yahya and Isah’s tomb, Hinza temple below the cliff and near the spring and Qanat of the Safavids era, the anthropology museum, water mill, Aton fort, three castles such as Pal-Hamona (Takhte-haman) castle in the South-West of Abyaneh, which is about 200 years old, Hajatgah mosque of the Safavids era, Porzaleh mosque of the Ilkhanids era, Jame-Mosque of the Saljouqs era, the old water reservoir, Convent, old trees, Harpaak fire-temple and the dome firtemple of the Acaemenids and the Sasanids era. On the top of Palhomouneh hill in front of the village, you can have a perfect view of the village.

Beside the beautiful nature of Abyaneh, the village is valuable because of its culture and traditions. Nakhl-Gardaani, Geqgeqeh-Zani, Chaharshanbeh-Souri and other national and religious events such as Nowrouz, Fetr, Bakreh and other similar rituals take place with special local songs and traditional music.

The economy of the village is based on gardening, husbandry, handicrafts and the tourism. Apple, pear, persimmon, almond, walnut and dry fruits are the main agricultural products. Meat and butter, fat, lassie (drink Yoghurt), whey and black-dried curd are the main dairy products. Aash, broth and Gibaa are the cousins in Abyaneh village.

The traditional local clothes of the village are rented for taking pictures there and wearing as long as you wish as a visitor on your trip. There are some facilities and services to accommodation in Abyaneh hotel and traditional homes. It is advised to visit Abyaneh village on your trip from Kashan to Isfahan or to Yazd in the center of Iran.
